Quit Cigarette Smoking~10 Powerful Hints to Stop Smoking - Quit for Good

Whether you are using Nicotine Replacement Therapy, Hypnosis or just Cold Turkey, these strategies and hints for aiding you in stopping smoking are sure to assist. It is up to you to ensure that you do these things to really enhance what you are doing, the more effort you put into these exercises, the easier it is to Quit Cigarette Smoking for good.

Powerful Hint 1.

Being a smoker is like cycling with stabilisers attached to the wheels, you can find it hard to be balanced without smoking. Now, when you cycle freely again, the natural balance returns.

When people smoke, more than half of what they breathe is fresh air - pulled through the cigarette right down into the lungs. So if you feel any cravings you can instantly overcome them by taking three deeper breaths. Imagine breathing from that space just below your belly button. Whenever you do this you put more oxygen into your bloodstream. This means you can use deep breaths to change the way you feel instantly and give you power over the way you feel and help you let go of those old cravings and thus making it easier to Quit Cigarette Smoking.

Powerful Hint 2

Next, think now of all the reasons you don't like smoking, the reasons that it's bad and the reasons you want to stop smoking. Write down the key words on a piece of paper. For example, you experience breathlessness, it's dirty, filthy and your clothes smell, your friends and family are concerned and it's expensive, unsociable and so on. Then, on the other side of the paper, write down all the reasons why you'll feel good when you've succeeded in stopping. You'll feel healthier, you’ll feel in control of your self, your senses are enhanced, your hair and clothes will smell fresher and so on. Whenever you need to, look at that piece of paper.

Powerful Hint 3

Next, we are going to programme your mind to feel disgusted by cigarettes. I want you recall 4 times when you thought to yourself "I've gotta quit", or that you felt disgusted about smoking. Maybe you just felt really unhealthy, or your doctor told you in a particular tone of voice 'You've got to quit' or somebody you know was badly affected by smoking. Take a moment now to come up with 4 different times that you felt that you have to quit or were disgusted by smoking.

Remember each of those times, one after another, as though they are happening now. I want you to keep going through those memories and make them as vivid as possible. The more vivid you make those memories, the easier it will be to Quit Cigarette Smoking. See what you saw, hear what you heard and feel how you felt. I want you to take a few minutes now to keep going through those memories again and again, overlap each memory with the next until you are totally and utterly disgusted by cigarettes.

Powerful Hint 4

Have a think to yourself about the consequences of you not stopping smoking now, if you just carry on and on. Imagine it, what will happen if you carry on smoking. What are the consequences? Imagine yourself in 6 months time, a years time, even 5 years time if you do not stop smoking now. Think of all the detrimental effects of not stopping right now and how a simple decision you make today can make such an impact on your future.

Next, imagine how much better is your life going to be when you Quit Cigarette Smoking. Really imagine it's months from now and you successfully stopped. Smoking is a thing of the past, something you used to do. Keep that feeling with you and imagine having it tomorrow, and for the rest of next week. In your mind, imagine stepping in to that non-smoking version of you and feel how it feels to be a non-smoker.

Powerful Hint 5

Also, your mind is very sensitive to associations, so it's very important that you have a clear out and remove all tobacco products from your environment. Move some of the furniture in your house and at work. Smokers are accustomed to smoking in certain situations. So, for example, if you used to smoke on the telephone at work move the phone to the other side of the desk. Throw away ashtrays, old lighters and anything that you used to associate with smoking. Make your environment conducive to stopping smoking.

Powerful Hint 6

Smokers sometimes use their habit to give themselves little breaks during the day. Taking a break is good for you, so carry on taking that time off - but do something different. Walk round the block, have a cup of tea or drink of water, or do some of the techniques on this programme. In fact, if possible drink a lot of fruit juice. When you Quit Cigarette Smoking the body goes through a big change. The blood sugar levels tend to fall, the digestion is slowed down and your body starts to eject the tar and poisons that have accumulated. Fresh fruit juice contains fructose which restores your blood sugar levels, vitamin C which helps clear out impurities and high levels of water and fibre to keep your digestion going. Also try to eat fruit every day for at least two weeks after you have stopped.

Also when you stop, cut your caffeine intake by half. Nicotine breaks down caffeine so without nicotine a little coffee will have a big effect. Drink 8-10 glasses of water (ideally bottled) to help wash out your system.

Powerful Hint 7

You were used to using cigarettes to signal to your body to release happy chemicals, so next we are going to programme some good feelings into your future. Allow yourself to fully remember now a time when you felt very deep ecstasy, pleasure or bliss, right now. Take a moment to recall it as vividly as possible. Remember that time - see what you saw, hear what you heard and feel how good you felt. Where abouts in your body were those feelings, imagine turning them up and spreading them through your body to make them more intense.

Keep going through the memory, as soon as it finishes, go through it again and again, all the time squeezing your thumb and finger together. In your mind, make those images big and bright, sounds loud and harmonious and feelings strong and intensified. We are making an associational link between the squeeze of your fingers and that good feeling.

Okay, stop and relax. Now if you have done that correctly when you squeeze your thumb and finger together you should feel that good feeling again. Go ahead do that now, squeeze thumb and finger and remember that good feeling.

Now we're going to programe good feelings to happen automatically whenever you are in a situation where you used to smoke but now you Quit Cigarette Smoking.

So, next I'd like you to squeeze your thumb and finger together, get that good feeling going and now imagine being in several situations where you would have smoked, but being there feeling great without a cigarette. See what you'll see hear and take that good feeling into those situations without a need for a cigarette.

Imagine being in a situation where someone offers you a cigarette and you confidently say 'No thanks, I don't smoke'. And feel fantastic about it!

Powerful Hint 8

Get social support. Your commitment to stopping smoking for the rest of your life can be made much easier by talking about it to friends and family and letting them support you. They will congratulate you on doing so well too! You really did Quit Cigarette Smoking.

Powerful Hint 9

Be aware of making excuses for yourself. Some people talk themselves into smoking, especially if they encounter a stressful situation and in the past they used to deal with it by smoking. If those old thoughts pop into your head, shout the word “STOP” in your head, to stop the thoughts from progressing. Nicotine just stresses your body more and is like that itch that can never be properly scratched; the more you smoke, the more you have to. So say “STOP” and steer clear of old slippery slopes.

Powerful Hint 10

Reward yourself. Congratulate yourself. Treat yourself each time you get past a certain milestone; the first week or first month, the six month target. Let yourself know that you did something really special here.

Keep on using your brain, stretching it and helping your self, by running through these exercises time after time; you are sure to be able to make it easier and easier and successfully Quit Cigarette Smoking for good.

Quit Cigarette Smoking~I Just Can't Stop Smoking!!!

Quit Cigarette Smoking~I Just Can't Stop Smoking!!!

I Just Can't Stop Smoking!!!

Many people who are smokers and continuously try to quit smoking over and over again may come to the only conclusion that falsely presents itself to them that they can't and will never Quit Cigarette Smoking and that this is their destiny forever to be a confirmed smoker. What puppydoo!!

Why do some smokers succumb to this fate? Why do smokers give up trying to stop smoking? It's a question that I personally would like to answer with my own feelings and if I may the true fact that is the true answer.

If you smoke or if you have just stopped smoking recently and you are already thinking about how much are suffering and maybe you are already contemplating having another cigarette because you just can't go through it anymore, then please before you crumble and start smoking again, lets go back to that moment or moments when you realised that you were, or are a mug for smoking and the time has come to Quit Cigarette Smoking, using tobacco and finally escape your nicotine addiction.

Are you there?

Good...now ask yourself this...Why do I have good intentions to quit smoking but never see them through?

Ready for the answer? Because you as a smoker who goes through this pathetic experience every time, knows that you shouldn't smoke anymore, but you are just another victim of the powerful brainwashing that cigarettes-Tobacco Companies-other smokers have forced upon you that you are actually or genuinely making some sort of huge sacrifice in your life and that because you stopped smoking, you are being punished for cutting away from this evil social epidemic that has prisoned you for whatever time span you have been smoking cigarettes.

That is the only answer to that question!

Any intelligent smoker who amicably has all the good intention in the world to become an ex-smoker will never walk away from nicotine addiction if they approach it thinking that to quit smoking means that the smoker has to make a sacrifice of some sort, or even pathetically worse, is sacrificing something in their lives that they thought actually helped them get through it. (life) This approach is suicide and guaranteed 200% to be nothing but an imminent failure. I have studied and analysed this and trust me it is true.

When I was a smoker I was also convinced that smoking cigarettes actually helped me get through life and face it head on with know worries as long as I had my pack in my pocket I was on top of everything. It was only when I didnt have them did I become panic stricken. This was the addiction nothing more nothing less, and the beautiful way that it is designed to make you think that it actually helps you in life yet in reality it does the complete opposite. I know this..it is true and I, like thousands of other ex-smokers know that life is completely amazing when you DO stop and stop for good.

If you are like the millions of people without the education as of why you smoke and you decide to finally Quit Cigarette Smoking but become all panic stricken because the decision to stop smoking you are making (again maybe) means that you will suffer then please stop right there before you continue. Stop right there..right now and just listen to me with an open mind.

Maybe you will ask questions like:-

* How can I possibly survive without them?
* How can I enjoy life, or social events without my cancer giving friends?
* What will I do when I get stressed, need to concentrate?
* What will I do after my meals and with my drinks?

There are more questions that I'm sure you could add but you get the picture right? The reason for questions like these and more the like, is just "Fear" which the cigarette has started, caused, created, sustained whilst the smoker continues to use them. Don't believe me ?...then please compare a smoker to a non-smoker...need I say more? Ok ...just one thing... Why don't people who do not smoke panic when they don't have cigarettes. Thats because they don't need them to live...In fact if you don't realise and believe this then you need ya head examining.

It's a constant tug-o-war for the smoker and it continues like this until the smoker actually starts thinking that they "CAN" Quit Cigarette Smoking because they don't need it not now and not ever!

Smokers need to educate themselves why the cigarette gets a hold of them so , and why they are tricked into believing that the cigarette actually helps them. When they know this they can walk away from this evil trap in a focused, happy, strong and committed frame of mind then they will succeed. I promise you. If you are afraid that you can't stop smoking then you have been fooled and you are condoning this subconsciously too.

When you do Quit Cigarette Smoking forever..and I believe you will..life changes amazingly for the better. It becomes yours again. Your health your energy and your money all come running back to you instantly.

But hey..how the hell are you gonna know this if you keep saying to yourself...

Quit Cigarette Smoking~Stop Smoking Tips and Programs on How to Stop Smoking

Ways and tip to stop smoking: Stop Smoking isn’t just hard on your body – it is dangerous for anyone living or working around you. When you Quit Cigarette Smoking, you’ll typically see an overall improvement in your health. Sometimes, that is easier said than done, though. Many smokers have tried unsuccessfully to stop smoking in the past, but if you’re really dedicated, you can try the following stop smoking tips and programs to help you beat cigarettes!

One of the best ways to Quit Cigarette Smoking is to talk to your doctor. Patches, pills, chewing gums, and other medications
can help you quit without looking back. Cold turkey doesn’t work for everyone, but that doesn’t mean that you’ve failed. With your doctor and a little patience, you can slowly cut back on your smoking until you’ve quit completely. Although you may have heard about many of the common medical programs used to stop smoking, there are also some experimental new treatments that have helped many people find success.

For example, have you talked to your doctor about the stop smoking laser? Lasers stimulate the skin, releasing the same endorphins in the brain that are released when you smoke. The stop smoking laser helps eliminate the urge to smoke -- and it also boosts your metabolism, which can stop you from gaining weight, a common problem for smokers trying to quit.

Other ways to Quit Cigarette Smoking that you might want to explore include stop smoking shots. These shots block certain receptors in the brain that make you want nicotine. The exact medication involved in a stop smoking shot vary according to your needs, but in general, these shots have succeeded as a stop smoking tips to many people who eventually give up cigarettes for good.

There are also non-medical ways to Quit Cigarette Smoking, some of which you might know about already. Others are unique solutions that many never consider! Here are some great stop smoking tips that might help you:

¨ Spend more time with your family. You already know that second hand smoke is bad, so when you are around your children or adult non-smokers it will help motivate you to avoid lighting up.

¨ Don’t fall back into smoking even if you make a mistake. Everyone has bad days, but smoking one cigarette does not mean that you have failed. Stay on your program, even if you have a small misstep.

¨ Avoid stress. Smoking helps calm your nerves, but if your nerves don’t need to be calmed, you’ll have less of a reason to smoke.

¨ Find a walking partner or jogging partner. Try to schedule your runs or walks during a time of day that you typically have a cigarette.

¨ Stay away from places that sell cigarettes, like convenience stores. Don’t give yourself an opportunity to buy them.

You don’t always need medical help to Quit Cigarette Smoking, but when you are ready to make this change in your life, it is important to talk to your doctor. Even without the stop smoking shot, stop smoking laser, or other programs, your body can experience side effects like tremors and headaches. Your doctor can help you treat this withdrawal without resorting to lighting up again. With a little help, you can stop smoking!

Quit Cigarette Smoking~Stop Smoking And Stop Making Excuses

Quit Cigarette Smoking~Stop Smoking And Stop Making Excuses

Smoking is a bit of a strange habit as it is one of those things that we really now that we shouldn't do, but feel that we just can't help it once we get hooked and become addicted. Its hold over us can seem to be one packed with amazing strength and power. Seeming to sap all our willpower and make us a slave to its tempting allure. If you are or have ever been a smoker you will understand just how hard smokers make it to give up! Yes you did read that right - smokers make giving up hard! In actual fact smoking is quite easy to stop once you stop making it difficult on yourself and stop making excuses. After all, most smokers quit every day when they go so sleep or when they are at work - sometimes going hours without a smoke and without any problems - well that is until they near a break time or until they head for the coffee machine just after waking.

So do you smoke, however really want to give up? If so then what excuses are you giving to yourself not to quit? Maybe you are saying things like, 'it's too hard to stop', 'the cravings are too powerful', 'and I have got no willpower to give up'. Well if you are saying these types of things to yourself then you need to challenge them as you are not quite telling yourself the truth. How do I know? Well I used to say things like this when I smoked. When I decided to really give up (instead of all of those half hearted attempts) I found it just as easy as it should be. In fact it was so simple that I really didn't have to do anything. I actually had more time to do stuff as I didn't have to go for a cigarette every 30 minutes. I have loads more cash too that I had saved from not buy a couple of packets of cigarettes each day - that really sweetened the deal for me as well.

When I gave up I just used self hypnosis
and it was the most pleasurable and rewarding thing I have done. I now have more money, better health and I don't smell of smoke anymore.

Simply put, hypnosis reprograms the part of your mind that holds your beliefs and habits, so it's a great place to Quit Cigarette Smoking. We refer to this part of your mind as your sub-conscious mind.

If you are really serious about getting your act together and stopping smoking right now, then I would recommend that you try a hypnosis download or recording and put this unwanted behaviour behind you right now. I wish you the best of luck and success in your new life as a non smoker.
